Celebration of Eid al-Adha (Said Kurban holiday) in Vilnius, Lithuania

Eid al-Adha – one of the two Muslim holidays, which is held every year on the 10th day of Dhul-Hijjah, this year falls on June 28. The Tajiks community of Lithuanian city of Vilnius celebrated this holiday with great splendor. The event began with the recitation of verses from the holy Koran, and festive greetings were heard by the chairman of the Tajik community, who sincerely congratulated all the participants on the occasion of Eid al-Adha and wished everyone happiness and success from God. In this event, a festive table was prepared, and all the residents of Vilnius were invited to the event, men, women and children gathered at the festive table. At the festive event, a cultural program was organized, which was especially dedicated to children. It was interesting that the cultural program for strengthening the level of knowledge of the Tajik language among children and teenagers included reading poems and answering questions, and presented them with festive gifts.

May Allah make this Eid full of love, joy and happiness, good deeds, acceptance of prayers, forgiveness of sins and raising the status of believers.
